Christmas illuminations and windows displays in Paris

During Christmas in Paris, famous brand parisian stores offers windows display greatly decorated. You’ve already seen them last year ? No problem, they are unique each year. You could go back and enjoy a new customisation, news characters and decors. Brand stores set up all they can do, they compete of ingenuity, imagination to offer you unique street shows.

Artists and designers have created for you fairy universes. Kids will well appreciate it but adults too!

Nativity scenes and Christmas celebrations in Paris

A little culture point about Christmas. Before he is been used by a big brand with a red logo and specialized in sparkling drinks, Father Christmas was green and was called Santa Claus or Saint Nicolas for French people. Christmas is a holy day, represents the birth of Jesus Christ.

Each year, many churches offers a nativity scene during Christmas in Paris. Little characters in terracota show the birth of Christ in a cowshed, surrounded by animals and sheperds. Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral, Madeleine church, and Sacré-Coeur Basilica offers each year a new nativity scene to discover for young and older people.
